[Klone-users] msgchan klapp run on IE browser but real-time status data can't update

Hello Stefano Barbato

I applied the your supplied msgchan klapp package (the package that you
updated to klone 2.1.1rc7) and batch file into my current developing
website. XMLSocket connection is ok(show green color) but the data can't
update (this issue only appear when a run my web on IE. Firefox is ok) .
I don't know why. 

I found that, the msgchan klapp only transfer <=5kb from server to
client one time. But the size of data that I transfer is greater than
5k, so that I divide the data package in to small part and transfer. 

Can you give me some of reasons why the data can't update when run on
IE?

I've just tried with IE6 and IE7 (latest version, downloaded today)  
with the Internet Explorer patch applied. With both versions the demo  
worked properly (with Flash 9.0.124 plugin installed).

On the server side I've tried running KLone on Windows, Mac OS X and  
Linux. All worked.


- download and unpack the msgchan demo (I've updated the package to  
klone 2.1.1rc7):

- apply the IE patch:

	
http://www.koanlogic.com/download/klone/klapp-msgchan-1.2.1-IE.patch

- run 'make'

- start 'kloned'

- test with your browser
